Ichinose Ako is a supporting character in Blue Reflection. She is a first year student of class 1-A at Hoshinomiya Girls' High School and a member of the Broadcasting Club.

Outgoing and mischievous, Ako is always on the lookout for the next big scoop. She enjoys investigating incidents around school to write them up as features and interest pieces.
Appearance[]
Ako has red (auburn) hair, which she wears in short pigtails with brown and beige striped ribbons. She wears the Hoshinomiya Girls' School Uniform, with red and white sneakers and calf-level white socks.

Ako comes from a wealthy family, but this was not always the case. Growing up poor, Ako learned early on the value of money, and aspires to one day make it on her own. Her parents are on the stricter side and refuse to allow Ako to get a part time job, leaving Ako with no choice but to her own school supplies with her allowance.
Ako decides to start a video channel on a social media app to earn some extra money, which quickly goes viral. However, she gets herself into a dilemma when a young admirer takes her fandom a bit too far.
Etymology[]
- Ichinose means "one" (一) (ichi), "this" (之) (no) and "swift current, rapids" (瀬) (se).
- Ako means "second, Asia" (亜) (a) and "child" (子) (ko).

- Ako maintains a journal of major school events on FreeSpace, and regularly interviews her fellow classmates on her radio program.
- Ako's Father is a famous rock singer.
- Ako was suspicious of Shirai Hinako being a magical girl before they had met.
- Ako is the first to point out that Shijō Yuzuki and Shijō Raimu are not in the Entrance Ceremony photos.
