Appearance[]
Ayami has hazel eyes and long, straight, light brown hair. She wears a beige school blazer with a white collared shirt, and a purple pinstriped neck ribbon and plaid skirt. She also wears calve-length stockings and brown dress shoes.
Her eroded dress has purple sleeves and shoulders and an azure bodice made of silk, along with a pink plaid skirt. Blue boots, fishnet tights and winged accessories complete the look.
Ayami wields a black and white guandao spear in battle. The blade is not as curved as the traditional pole weapon.
Personality[]
Ayami is a caring girl who calls herself "Everyone's big sister". She may seem dependable, but she is also somewhat out of it.
In battle against the Ash monsters, she always takes a step back to look at her surroundings, and supports her friends with her broad perspective.

Case 01[]
During a mission, Ayami breaks off from the team to go looking for her missing partner, Hoshiya Kanna. She is unable to locate Kanna, but instead finds Kasuga Shiho, alone and being pursued by a Testa. Ayami transforms into an Eroded and saves the distraught Shiho by using her power, Illusion Crew, to hide them from the Testa. Ayami laments that she is not good at fighting and must leave such matters to Xiao Meiqi and the others, but is still grateful for power. She tells Shiho to decide her own course, and that she will accept her decision whether she stays with the team or leaves.
Case 02[]
The Protagonist speaks to Kanna and Ayami about holding an encouragement party for Yu. They tell the Protagonist that Nanaka's behavior is due to her going through something similar to what Yu went through, when Ami died. Kirara joined the organization at around this time, which is why she became Nanaka's buddy right away.
Ami had been the only person that Yu talked to. Not even Ayami has been able to get Yu to open up. However, Ayami feels that Shiho might indeed make a good partner for Yu. As Shiho has healing abilities, she may well be able to open up Yu's heart.
Yu and Shiho run into trouble on the field, and Shiho is incapacitated. The Protagonist calls for backup. Takaoka Yukiko, Meiqi, Kanna and Ayami arrive in time to assist Yu and the Protagonist with defeating the Testa and Queen.
