Takaoka Yukiko is a main character in Blue Reflection Sun and a supporting character in episode 5 of Blue Reflection Ray, I Can't See Anything. She is a young girl, presumably about the same age as Miyako, who appears to be suffering from an unspecified illness that keeps her bedridden. Since she is permanently at home, Yukiko finds a refuge for her loneliness in social media apps.

A kind person who tries to help others with their problems. Due to her illness, Yukiko is shown to be mostly chatting in the Ho-kago chat room, having no friends outside of the app.

Yukiko has a brunette bob cut and large spectacles. She wears a striped pink and yellow jacket. During certain scenes, she wears a blue sailor uniform.
Blue Reflection Sun[]
Yukiko retains the brunette bob cut and large spectacles. She is depicted wearing a white sailor seifuku top and a pleated queen blue skirt, with a matching sailor neck tie. She also has short white socks and brown loafers.
Her hair turns pink in her Eroded form, and she sprouts a pair of short beige antlers and rabbit ears. She wears a blue and lavender shoulder-less blouse, with white stitching, and retains the pleated skirt.
Yukiko employs small artificial intelligence machines that levitate, in order to fight from a safe distance. She is accompanied by a jackalope familiar, perched on her shoulder.

Miyako Shirakaba[]
When the majority of the chat room members turn against Yukiko, due to the manipulation of Komagawa Uta, Miyako offers support via chat. Miyako tells her that she would like to be her friend, and to believe in the connections she has made. The sincerity and compassion of Miyako's words deeply move Yukiko, and help to stabilize her fragment. Later, Yukiko tells Miyako about the one who has been claiming to take away feelings, a clue that would lead the Blue Reflector group to Uta and the others who have been stealing fragments.

Blue Reflection Ray[]
"Princess Yuki" (Yukiko's online persona) is a famous user among high school girls on a social media app called H♡-KAG♡ (meaning "After School"). Ho-kago is only used by high school girls. "Princess Yuki" hosts a group chat called "Princess Yuki's Magical Room" in which she offers advice and claims to help solve girls' problems by casting a "magical spell", that erases their problems and sorrows.

Said claims are false. Uta takes advantage of the situation to mentally torture Yukiko so she can steal her fragment. Miyako helps Yukiko's fragment to stabilize by offering her support and comforting her.

Case 01[]
The team is assaulted, and Yukiko is knocked out while saving Kasuga Shiho from an attack. The Protagonist tells Shiho that she can save Yukiko with her ability, Cell Reconstructor (Power of Healing). The Protagonist enters Shiho's heart and activates her power. Shiho successfully heals Yukiko.
Case 02[]
After Shiho learns that her fellow teammate Kuramochi Ami has transferred to the Ise School, Yu explains what this means to the new member (a euphemism for dying). After Yu leaves the room, Yukiko elaborates that the team is numbed to their comrades dying, and that Yu is a particularly special case. They have to continue performing their duties regardless of their feelings, or even more sacrifices will be necessary.
Yukiko finds the Protagonist looking dejected, and offers him some encouragement and insight into the team members, including Ami. She tells the Protagonist she is shouldering a heavy burden herself, and almost had her soul reaped by Uta.
Yu and Shiho run into trouble on the field, and Shiho is incapacitated. The Protagonist calls for backup. Meiqi, Yukiko, Kanna and Ayami arrive in time to assist Yu and the Protagonist with defeating the Testa and Queen.
