Xiao Meiqi (pronounced Shao Meichii) is a main character in Blue Reflection Sun.

Appearance[]
Xiao has blue eyes and long brunette hair with straight bangs. She wears a dark blue sailor fuku top with a periwinkle-colored pleated skirt and collars.
Transformed, Xiao sports blonde hair with a lily pin. She wears a blue, white and brown dress with cutaways, and has gold serpent bracelets wrapped around her left arm and right leg. A pink, diamond-shaped ring appears on her left index finger. She is accompanied by a dragon lich which fuses with her body while eroded.
She wields a black straight sword with a taped handle.
Personality[]
Xiao has a strong sense of justice and a gentle personality that puts her fellow students before herself, but she is easily misunderstood by those around her because of her earnestness and her lack of ability to speak. She has more experience in battles with different ashes than any of her friends, and was the leader of her unit.

Blue Reflection Sun[]
Case 00[]
While on an assignment with Takaoka Yukiko, Ikoma Ayami, and Hoshiya Kanna, Meiqi chastises her team for not paying attention to the mission. However, it doesn't prevent them for being caught off guard by a Testa invasion.
After the mission, Meiqi is introduced to the Protagonist by her leader, Ayaka, who explains that leadership of the team will be temporarily transferred to the Protagonist. This does not sit well with Meiqi.
Case 01[]
Meiqi and the rest of the team deploy to Area 105. They learn that Shiho has no experience transforming into an Eroded, or even know what one is. During the conversation, Kanna goes missing, and the remaining team members are attacked by Testa. The group is unable to signal Kanna. Ignoring orders, Ayami runs off to look for her, while Meiqi and Yukiko charge headlong into battle, leaving the Protagonist to defend the inexperienced Shiho.
Meiqi and Yukiko emerge victorious, and Meiqi argues with the Protagonist over the correct course of action. Shiho finally breaks down and the group attempts to calm her down. Shiho runs off, but Meiqi insists that her and Yukiko continue with the Testa elimination, leaving the Protagonist to track down Shiho. The group is once again attacked, and as a last resort, the Protagonist unleashes his hidden power, Ether Pherogram, amplifying the powers of the Eroded girls. With the Testa vanquished, the three begin their search for Shiho.
Eventually, the whole group reunites. They sense the presence of the Testa Queen. Meiqi wishes to order a retreat, as the team has never defeated a Queen before, but the Protagonist insists on successfully completing their first elimination mission.
The Protagonist gives his orders and Meiqi is able to defeat the Queen. The two reconcile and the team returns to the Academy to debrief with Ayaka. She issues strapples (lollipops) to replenish the team's ether supply.
Case 02[]
Yu and Shiho run into trouble on the field, and Shiho is incapacitated. The Protagonist calls for backup. Meiqi, Yukiko, Kanna and Ayami arrive in time to assist Yu and the Protagonist with defeating the Testa and Queen.
